hectic schedules.
Overview
SAFESTART Healthcare is
a safety awareness training program that identifies
behaviors common in 90% of all patient injuries and
medication errors. Most patient safety
initiatives focus on improving processes and
applying technology to reduce medication errors;
SAFESTART focuses on the human side of safety.
It is targeted to clinical staff and other personnel
impacting patient care.
SAFESTART Healthcare
doesn't replace current patient safety initiatives,
but provides an additional perspective that allows
employees to recognize behavior that causes patient
injuries and medical errors.
