“Larry brings with him a wealth of experience in
discussing safety whether as a group or on an
individual basis and best of all his testimonial is
both believable and entertaining. I would highly
recommend Larry for those who wish to jump start
anyone's attitudes towards safety not only in the
workplace but in our day to day lives.”
– Greg
Voysey, Weyerhaeuser
* Notes:
The 2-Day workshop
registration price entitles each attendee to participate in
hands-on training sessions that convey proven methods for
delivering SafeStart. Each participant receives one set of
instructor materials. The purchase of additional individual
trainee materials is mandatory before a company is entitled to
train their employees using the SafeStart concepts learned at
this workshop. Certification of trainers will expire in five
years from the date of certification
due to program updates and changes. Additional requirements must
be met to achieve full certification. Details will be provided
during the training session, or you can ask your account manager
for details before you register by calling the toll-free number.

Session
Overview
The 2-Day Workshops
transfer critical knowledge from the workshop
leader’s extensive experience directly to a
small
group of participants.
At the end of the first day (the 1-Day Workshop)
you will be assigned one unit that you will
deliver with a partner the next day.
On Day 2 the training focuses on teaching the
course “hands-on” to a peer group with guidance
and instruction from the workshop leader. This
completes your
SafeStart intermediate trainer certification.
For those who will be training others in
SafeStart at their organization, trainer
certification is required.
For those who have not yet decided whether to
implement SafeStart, attending this 2-Day
workshop will allow you
to fully evaluate and complete the course, learn
how it is implemented and delivered, and gain
additional insight into why it is so successful.
Either way,
participants will have a unique opportunity to
spend the second day in a small group with the
author or an experienced safety consultant with
hands-on training and plenty of one-on-one time
discussing training, safety, pitfalls, and
critical success factors.
Your commitment of time and money to this
workshop is taken very seriously. You will walk
away from this workshop with the knowledge and
experience you expect.
