“We went four years without an OSHA recordable. Additionally, we applied the SafeStart methodology in the areas of production and quality and that helped us obtain a considerable reduction in quality and production problems.”

Session Overview

Attending this Half-Day Workshop will change the way you think about safety.  In four hours, you will learn how a
simple safety training program designed to improve personal safety skills can have wide-spread, corporate advantages that extend well beyond its primary goal of keeping your employees safe.

Of course employee safety is priority one—with us and with you—so this session will introduce safety professionals to the proven concepts SafeStart employs to
reduce injuries quickly and significantly.  But this session equally discusses the many other benefits SafeStart brings to a company.

Executive and financial management will be able to assess SafeStart based on its proven financial merits. Together, with the safety department’s input and objectives, they will be able to formulate the business
case for safety and make the direct connection between saving lives and saving money.

Plant/Site managers and human resource managers will learn about the many other benefits SafeStart brings—increases in productivity, and improved quality control
resulting from positive morale and universally-applicable error reduction skills.

Your attendance at this workshop will assist you in building the business case for safety, and hopefully initiate a full evaluation of the SafeStart program. Implementing
SafeStart will provide measurable safety and financial improvements for your company that will far exceed the small investment of time you make now.

Reasons for Attending

  • Learn how SafeStart has improved the safety and financial performance of companies around the world

  • Initiate your understanding of the concepts SafeStart utilizes to reduce injuries quickly and significantly—on and off the job

  • Discover the additional improvements in morale, productivity, quality and team communication this safety program can achieve

  • Investigate the return on investment that SafeStart offers

  • Gain a new perspective on safety’s role within the organization

  • Consider the real cost of injuries to companies based on third-party stats, and how SafeStart addresses those issues

  • Review specific business case examples from several well-known organizations

  • Examine the suite of programs and services that are now available to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of SafeStart

Who should attend
These sessions are geared to the objectives of essentially three different groups of people within the executive safety management team:

  • Executive and financial managers interested in the business case for safety and how SafeStart offers significant return on investment

  • Various levels of safety personnel interested in having a brief, initial introduction to the SafeStart program

  • Plant/Site managers and human resource managers who are looking for an additional way to improve morale, quality, productivity, and participation in compliance initiatives

Ideally, a representative from each of these areas would attend the session at the same time to achieve a consistent and complete evaluation of the many benefits of SafeStart.  Clients who have already implemented the core SafeStart program will also benefit from these workshops by learning about the new programs that are available to extend and sustain the learning over several years.
