* Notes:

The workshop admission prices entitle each attendee to participate in hands-on training sessions that convey proven methods for delivering the SafeTrack concepts. Each participant receives one set of the SafeTrack materials. The purchase of additional individual trainee materials is mandatory before a company is entitled to train their employees using the concepts learned at this workshop. SafeTrack Workshops

SafeTrack is an observation and feedback process.  There are many benefits to an observation and feedback process including significant injury reductions (normally over 60%), but to be successful your safety team members need the observation and communication skills to effectively discuss safety and risk with employees in a positive, meaningful manner that supports the benefits of this type of safety program.  SafeTrack develops these specific skills in your observers and gives them the confidence to effectively execute an observation and feedback process within your organization.

For companies who have already implemented SafeStart, SafeTrack can be the best next step in continuing to improve safety performance. Even though SafeStart would have already reduced injuries significantly and quickly, implementing SafeTrack will
further reduce injuries and ensure long-term success.

If you haven’t implemented SafeStart, or if you already have an observation process in place, you will most likely still find SafeTrack of great value—because SafeTrack is different. The difference is that it provides in-depth, practical skills to observers—teaching them how to observe and communicate effectively with employees in a positive way.

We offer three SafeTrack workshops; a Half-Day or 1-Day Introduction, a 2-Day Observer training workshop, and a 3-Day Train-the-Trainer. See the following brief descriptions or call our toll-free number to discuss this further with one of our SafeTrack specialists.

Half-Day or 1-Day Introduction Workshop

Occasionally we will conduct a SafeTrack Introduction workshop that is either a half-day or full-day in length.

These workshops are intended to give participants a general overview of an observation and feedback process and the SafeTrack program

Of particular interest to existing SafeStart clients looking for the best next step in continued injury reductions, these workshops will outline the SafeTrack program and highlight how it further reduces in juries with its observation and feedback process.

SafeTrack teaches observers how to deliver meaningful positive reinforcement for ongoing safe behaviors like eyes on task, body position out of the line-of-fire and balance, traction and grip to further support your SafeStart investment.

The workshop will provide a basic overview of the concepts, components and implementation options and acts as a precursor to other more formal steps in the evaluation process like one of the 2 workshop listed below or on-site presentation.

Reasons for Attending

  • Investigate observation and feedback training and how it can reduce injuries, improve safety culture and save money

  • Overview of what SafeTrack is, how it is implemented and how it differs from other behavior based safety programs

  • Reasons for implementing SafeTrack and why it is the best next step for most SafeStart clients

  • Gain a new perspective on safety

Who Should Attend

2-Day Observer Training Workshop

Attending this 2-day workshop will provide participants with the skills they need to effectively conduct more and better safety observations within their organization.

Participants will first learn about the many benefits of an observation and feedback process and the critical success factors involved in starting, maintaining and improving a behavior-based safety program.

This workshop also provides a good overview of behavioral safety programs and allows you to fully evaluate SafeTrack under the guidance of the author and/or one of our senior trainers.

Your attendance at this workshop will provide immeasurable value to your personal and your company’s safety performance far exceeding the small investment of time and money you will make now.

At the end of the second day (the 2-Day Observer workshop described above) participants will be assigned SafeTrack material to present in front of the group on Day 3.

On Day 3 the training focuses on teaching the course “hands-on” to a peer group and completes your SafeTrack trainer certification—preparing you to deliver the course within your organization.

For those who will be implementing SafeTrack at their organization, this 3-Day session is required.  For those who have not yet decided whether to implement SafeTrack, attending this 3-Day workshop will allow you to fully evaluate and complete the course, learn how it is implemented and delivered, and gain additional insight into why it is so successful.
